1 Million Rupiahs’ Worth of Scholarships
Every year, 1 million Rupiahs’ worth of scholarships are distributed to the children of our excelled weavers in the form of student savings. There is also a forum intended for parents and children to encourage the little ones to pursue their dreams and learn from inspiring youth.
Nutritious Food for Mothers & Children
A healthy life should belong to all people in Indonesia. In collaboration with local nutritionists at the village level, healthy local food packages are provided for mothers and children in our communities. Such packages include sorghum, moringa leaves, and quail eggs.
Life Skills & Job Skills Improvement
Improving our weavers’ core skills is one of the most impactful programs in our empowerment agendas. This program consists of year-round weaving training, financial literacy training, capacity building training, and many more.
Social Procurement
Practicing social procurement is also a wonderful way to support the livelihood and welfare of the community. Parts of this purchase contribute directly to the financial sustainability of many families of our weavers.

Supporting Education with Everbest
Everbest distributed 80 scholarships to ensure the continuity of education for the children in Solor Island, East Flores. Not only that, Everbest x Du Anyam also launched Ghania (Tote bag) & Erina (Bucket Bag), two chic bags weaved by our weavers in Flores, combined with the matching leather and canvas. From every sale of these collaboration products, Everbest set aside Rp 50.000 to give back to the children in the form of student savings.
Supplementary Feeding Program with Jamuan
Jamuan believes that every child in Indonesia has the right to dream. But before shooting for the stars, they need to be healthy first. Jamuan donated 10% from every sale of their Javanese-Manadonese rice bowls to improve the health of children in Flores. Du Anyam distributed the donations as healthy food packages containing sorghum, moringa leaves, quail eggs, and so on.
Shea Gift Package with The Body Shop
Sharing the same vision for women empowerment, The Body Shop collaborated with Du Anyam to make Shea Gift Package. This package consisted of Shea products from The Body Shop, such as shampoo & body butter made by women in Ghana, packed inside Du Anyam’s green mini tote bags. The bags are weaved by our weavers in Flores and made to match The Body Shop’s color brand. The Body Shop donated Rp 10.000 from every purchase of this package to support children’s education in Flores, East Nusa Tenggara.
