What is a Carbon Footprint?
A carbon footprint refers to the carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions generated during the life cycle of a product.
Du Anyam is committed to reducing its carbon footprint by measuring the CO₂ emissions from specific production and transportation processes of the Bhumi Binara collection and offsetting them through the development of renewable geothermal energy in Lahendong, North Sulawesi, as certified by the Sistem Registri Nasional (SRN) under the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.

1. Eco-friendly Materials
All souvenirs in the collection feature:
- Handwoven palmyra leaves in signature Kepitang (3D hexagonal) patterns from Flores
- Organic / vegan leather crafted from coffee bean fermentation
2. Measured Carbon Footprint
Each item in the collection has undergone a carbon emission calculation process, covering:
- Materials used in the production
- Transportation
3. Carbon Offset Project
The calculated carbon footprints of the collection has also been offset through the development of renewable geothermal energy in Lahendong, North Sulawesi, aligning these souvenirs with ESG values & commitment to sustainability.

As a part of Du Anyam’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions, we have partnered with Fairatmost to measure each product’s carbon emissions and offset them through the development of renewable geothermal energy in Lahendong, North Sulawesi, as certified by the Sistem Registri Nasional (SRN) under the Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
