Combining originality in designs with traditional elements has long been a part of Eugenio’s identity. The humble ITB alumni in Industrial Design is also passionate in natural inspirations and technology, a balanced mix that shapes his idea of function and modern aesthetics.
Du Anyam X Eugenio Hendro : A Collaboration Work For Purun
Naturally, Eugenio Hendro makes the perfect product designer for Du Anyam’s Purun project. Not only does the local material fit his area of expertise, but the important missions of peatland preservation and the livelihood of women weavers also resonate with his idea. Purun, a natural grass growing in peatlands, is set to be the solution that tackles environmental damage in peatlands of South Kalimantan as well as empowering the local weaving community there.
